    • The WWF Title has been def ended on 13 SummerSlam pay per views
    • The WWF Title was not def ended at SummerSlam ‘88, 89 and ‘91 as the champion at all 3 (Hulk Hogan) took part in wrestling in tag team matches
    • SummerSlam ‘92 & ‘93 - The outcome of these Title matches resulted in the challenger winning by count out
    • 1990 and 1994 WWF Title matches were held inside a steel cage (Ultimate Warrior vs Rick Rude and Bret Hart vs Owen Hart)
    • Bret Hart vs Owen Hart was left second to last on the card
