- Christian Cage said that the NWA World Heavyweight title belongs to the peeps just as much as it belongs to himself!
- Christian Cage talked about the King of the Mountain match saying a Champion has never retained in that kind of match..
- Christian Cage then issued a challenge to see who in TNA wants to step up and challenge at Slammiversary next month..
- Monty Brown came out and said if anybody deserves a shot it's him and he owes Christian a Pooouuunce Period!
- Jeff Jarrett & Scott Steiner, Rhino, Ron Killings and Rhino all showed up and Jarrett called them all losers..
- Sting then appeared up in the rafters with a microphone and said if Jarrett was in the match than so is he!
- Larry Zbyszko showed up on the big screen and said there will be four qualifying matches for King of the Mountain..
- Larry Zbyszko told the men to stay in their gear because nobody will know their opponent until they're in the ring..
WORLD X-CUP TIE-BREAKER: Chris Sabin def Petey Williams to win the World X-Cup for Team USA...
- Before the match, Larry Zbyszko banned all members of Team Canada and Team USA from ringside..
- During the match, LAX members Homicide & Hernandez were shown "on strike" refusing to work tonight..
- Backstage, Kevin Nash showed up and knocked a security guard out with the dreaded vulcan death grip..
- Chris Sabin pinned Petey Williams and celebrated with the World X-Cup trophy outside of the ring..
- Kevin Nash kneed Chris Sabin in the spine from behind and destroyed Sabin, busting his head open..
- Kevin Nash pushed Chris Sabin into the ring and gave him a jacknife power-bomb and picked up the mic..
- Kevin Nash said that the X-Cup champion has nothing on him, saying he once again proved that size matters..
BACKSTAGE: Jeremy Borash & Abyss & Monty Brown & Jeff Jarrett & Scott Steiner..
- Jeremy Borash was backstage and showed the heels waiting to see if their name will be called for a match..
- Scott Steiner snapped and told Jeff Jarrett that he was tired of waiting for answers!
RINGSIDE: Scott Steiner came out and physically harassed Don West demanding a match with Sting NOW!
NON (X-DIVISION) TITLE MATCH: Samoa Joe def Chase Stevens..
- Samoa Joe came down to the ring and had a nose-to-nose stare-down with "Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner..
- Samoa Joe entered the ring and destroyed Chase Stevens to win the match by Submission..
- Samoa Joe continued to kick Chase Stevens until Andy Douglas returned to stop the assault..
- "The Franchise" Shane Douglas (welcome back!) suddenly appeared on the stage looking on!
INTERVIEW: Jeremy Borash & Team 3-D (Brothers Ray & Devon)..
- Brother Ray said that Extreme times call for Extreme measures, cause Extreme is the flavour of the month..
- Brother Ray said that you can't revive something when the heart and soul is in TNA (reference to WWE's ECW)..
- Brother Ray said they will find out who the greatest fighting team in history is at Slammiversary..
KING OF THE MOUNTAIN QUALIFYING MATCH: Abyss def Rhino..
- Father James Mitchell was not there because he was slammed into a pile of thumb-tacks at Sacrifice..
- Abyss managed to qualify for the Ring of the Mountain match with help from Coach Scott D'Amore!
- Abyss celebrated and left as Scott D'Amore stood over Rhino and slapped him accross the face!
