David Elson wrote: Appeared on TNA Unbreakable 2005 September 11th with his family to watch the four-way elimination match for the NWA World Tag Team Championships. The winners of the TNA 2005 Chris Candido Memorial Tag Team Tournament, Alex Shelley and Sean Waltman, were scheduled to face incumbent champions The Naturals, Team Canada, and America's Most Wanted. When Waltman no-showed the event, Johnny left the audience, climbed on to the ring apron and assumed the role of Shelley's tag team partner. Candito and Shelley were eliminated soon after when Candito was pinned by Eric Young. . Johnny wrestled in a WWE dark match against Balls Mahoney and Axl Rotten with an unknown wrestler, and is the NWA midwest heavyweight champion.
